3D Mosaic Wall Sculpture - Burnt Ash and Aluminum

For the pyromaniac in you.

This modern 3D wall sculpture is a mosaic of solid Ash tiles, which have been individually torch flamed and gently sanded to accentuate their bold grain patterns.

Flaming or roasting the wood gives the consistent dark espresso color without the use of artificial chemical stains. A non-reflective satin clear coat locks in and protects the wood.

The solid Aluminum gridwork provides stark contrast, each piece sized and then hand textured to a matte finish.

Careful attention was paid to preserve the continuation and flow of the beautiful wood grain across each partition.

Mounts securely via a French cleat.

Dimensions are 27.5 x 27.5 x 2" thick.
